Women In Support of The Million Man March
WISOMMM represent a collective response of women and men moving towards changing the reality of an urban community. Located in Newark, New Jersey this collective has advanced the meaning of self-determination in plotting the future of the children, families and resident citizens in this city. Please take the time and review who we are, what we offer and join our efforts to be a marker of what it takes to re-envision community. The mission of Women In Support of the Million Man March, Inc. is to create, promote and develop educational, cultural, civic and athletic programs in our society in an effort to enhance and empower the quality of life for the people in the Greater Newark Community. The goals and objectives of the Women In Support of the Million Man March is to take back the streets of our communities, increase health awareness, create affordable housing, focus on economic development, improve the educational system, and increase voter registration. |
